FINE ART MATERNITY PORTRAITS
GUIDING YOU FROM START TO FINISH
1)- First step: A quick consultation to discuss details and date availability. We will discuss your vision for the finished images, and whether wall art or an album would suit your family best. This is where you choose a date and reserve it by paying your session retainer and signing a contract.
2) - Planning your session: We will go over your vision for outfits, locations, etc. so we can be best prepared for you! You can send me your ideas and inspiration photos, and you can scroll our Pinterest. We can also do an in person consultation at your home to choose outfits!
3) - Shoot day, yay! Depending on your package, you will start with our hair and makeup team, then it's time to shoot! We’ll meet 1-2 hours before sunset depending on your chosen package and location choice. Generally we shoot for about an hour, but can run up to 2 hours if we're doing lots of variety!
4) - 1-2 weeks after your session, your images will be ready for your Viewing and Ordering Session. We may do this over video chat or in person at the studio (or at your home!) This is where you will select the images you’d like to purchase and we will design your custom commissioned artwork.

Maternity clients get the royal treatment, which means full access to our closet of gowns, robes and accessories for use during your session.

Where Are You Located?
Our private photography studio is located in downtown Sweetwater in west-central Texas, just a few hours from Abilene, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Lubbock, San Angelo, Wichita Falls and San Antonio.

What Services Do You Offer?
At Leslee Shaw Photography, I offer a luxury experience you cannot get anywhere else! I specialize in Beauty and Boudoir Portraits while also offering Maternity, Newborns, Headshots, Branding, Families and Seniors. Full planning assistance, in person wardrobe consultation, private magazine style pro photoshoot with posing guidance and professional retouching included in all sessions. It is a true luxury service like no other.

How Long Does A Session Typically Last?
Portrait Sessions typically last 45-90 minutes. It all depends on your session type, the size of your group, how many outfits you’ve chosen and if you have multiple locations in mind. Mini sessions last 20 minutes and are offered on select days only.

How Long Does It Take To Get My Photos?
Turn around time from “session” to “proof gallery” is 7-10 days. After gallery is delivered, you will have 2 weeks to order prints, digitals, wall art and albums.

What Locations Do You Shoot At?
I primarily shoot in my downtown Sweetwater photography studio but also offer on location sessions. These locations are some fan favorites, though: Lake Sweetwater & Trammel, Newman Park, Downtown (Abilene/Sweetwater/Roscoe), ACU, Texas Tech, Fisher County (Private Property).

What If I Need To Reschedule?
I understand that life happens, whether we want it to or not so my clients can rest assured that if something does come up, you are allowed to reschedule your session within 2 weeks, with no additional fee. If I am unable to shoot your session, you will be notified ASAP and offered the next available date. If you no call no show, you are forfeiting your retainer fee and we will not schedule with you again.

How Would You Describe Your Style?
I love authentic images and raw emotion. I love dark colors and warm, golden sunshine in the fall, and a bright, airy look for Spring/Summer. I seek out genuine moments that you can FEEL. Most photos are lightly posed, meaning I’ll help get you into place first and then encourage interaction and real expressions while we’re shooting. I also love getting those shots of your family interacting, in the in between moments.

Do You Release RAW Images?
Much like chefs do not deliver “raw” food, I do not deliver RAW images. Not only do they require specialized programs to open, what makes my art special is my unique.
